I was pleasantly surprised to learn that 70% of you were able to correctly identify CSAs in my recent poll as Community Supported Agriculture. To learn more about this awesome program and to find one in your area, check out my new article on FitFare (EDITED TO ADD: The Fit Fare website no longer exists. 6/2/2011).

The other 30% of people polled chose Closed System Agriculture, which is a very real thing used in arid climates to use and reuse water within a system to keep sandy soils hydrated for farming. Way to go to those 30% for picking up on my inadvertent inclusion of another farm-related acronym.
