The roasted potatoes look great! Sorry to hear about the incident with your dogs! I had to protect my dog from an attacking dog with a shovel, and that was scary enough. I can’t imagine facing a deer!

I love roasted ptoatoes. I tried a new trick (at least for me) last time. Cut up potatoes and the put them in boiling water for about 5-6 minutes and then marinate and bake. The insides get soft while the outside is crunchy – I’ll never make them any other way – cheers!

OMG, I'd freak if a deer went for Nigel. Are your beagles OK????

You can get these ultrasonic things that are supposed to scare them off, but not sure if it would hurt your dogs' ears too.
