		<description>Thanks! Canning is a great idea too. From my research on it, I think the addition of added acidity (maybe a 1 teaspoon of lemon juice) would make them suitable for water bath canning. Hmmm, I might just have to try that too.</description>

		<description>These tomatoes sound wonderful!  I agree that tomatoes and basil are a good marriage, and that adding garlic to the mix makes a fantastic marriage!  What I am looking for is a recipe for canning all three together -- cherry tomatoes, basil and cloves of garlic.  I saw one, but I felt it was unsafe. In any case, you found a creative way to use your extra produce!</description>
