English pea pod and peas in a bowl.

I was going to write a post about all the things that happened last week while I was on vacation from work. While funny, some memories should be just ours though . . . so I won’t. Suffice it to say that Will, Paige and I had a good time and were happy that Shawn could join us here and there (he wasn’t off).

Hope you enjoyed your week too.

As for the snapshot: We eat a lot of food fresh from the farmer’s market and had a good thing going for awhile with these fresh peas. Turns out, we all like peas if they are fresh.

How did you get that photo to come out so great? It looks awesome, and it made me crave peas. I hate peas.

Thanks, Viktoria! You should try fresh peas — just boiled for a minute or two — absolutely great (toss them with a little butter too).

And THANKS on the pic. I’ve been trying really hard to improve my photography. Trial and error really, and trusting that my camera can take photos like this . . . Sonja was really helpful last time I saw her too.

Yeah, Sonja is great. And the advice seems to be helping cause your pix are awesome and always make me really hungry.
