I vacillate between having the kitchen tv on or spinning some tunes via iPod. Everything from hard rock and 80s to Harry Connick, Top 40 and songs from the 50s. Kind of all over the place, like me. ;)

I'm with you. Well, I don't necessarily listen to the same music choices you do, but I like to listen to music with a dancing beat. At Christmas, it was all about the upbeat, high tempo holiday songs. Last time I turned on the music it was from the collection of 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s music folder on my laptop. I love to be able to sing along as I'm cooking; it makes the process much more enjoyable, and I love cooking, so that's an achievement!
