Just letting them get their hands all gooey and not worrying about the mess they make is a big step to teaching kids to love cooking.

I always found it was MORE work to let kids “help”, but so, so worth it!

I’ve been experimenting with various chocolate cookie recipes – online and cookbook – and I’ve been baffled by how un-illuminating some photos and descriptions can be when it comes to cookie texture!
