I was hoping to share a new recipe today for a cookie I am working on, but it’s just not ready yet.

Paige and I baked like crazy this morning, testing the recipe that I wrote months ago. Unfortunately, while I won’t call the recipe a flop, it also wasn’t a raving success. The lace cookies attempt just didn’t get that crisp crunch that I was looking for. And they were a little to caramel-y (though still enjoyable).

Back to the drawing board for me and happy weekend to you!
