It’s so sad sometimes and other times its empowering to see how strong people are when they need to be. I recently read a nice story in CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL: THINK POSITIVE about a woman who learned by having breast cancer that what made her a woman wasnt having breasts but being a strong person.

She claimed she would rather have cancer. The jury, each of whom knew someone suffering or recovering from breast cancer weren’t sympathetic. I can’t think of a single person who doesn’t have a connection to best cancer.
