I had my kids go into the pool yesterday afternoon after reopening it for the summer. I had guests coming, food sitting on the stove, loads of cleaning up to do, finish something else etc etc. I couldn’t, just couldn’t hang out with them, first to make sure they didn’t drown fighting in the pool, and then to simply hang out with them, watching them having fun.

I couldn’t right? Wrong! I could, I did, had a blast. I had to literally bulldoze through my chores, but it was worth every moment.
