What’s on your desk? Every fall, I give our house a little sprucing up. Last year, it meant re-accessorizing and moving the furniture in the kids rooms on a weekend when the kids and my husband went out of town. I also started redecorating our living room as well — a project I am still working on.
This year, I plan to make some new strides in the living room revival as well as re-accessorizing my workspace. I will probably repaint two rooms, as well.
So I am casually keeping my eyes open for my workspace. I’ve managed to clean up my desk a bit and reorganize it as well. I’ve added a special homemade DIY inspiration frame with motivational quotes. But the space still needs some more organization and perhaps some shelves to really bring it together.
When I was at the BlogHer 2012 Conference in New York, I spotted a line of accessories that will be perfect (it didn’t hurt that they had a beautiful shell in the display!). The Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery line is everything I love — clean lines, serene colors and spaces designed for keeping things in order.
The line also has a number of items perfect for organizing the pantry as well. Cute, right?
When I saw the booth at BlogHer, I had to get a closer look and kind of wanted to chill out at the desk and whip out my netbook (that wouldn’t be weird, right?). Couldn’t you just see these items in a beach home? They have the airy, soothing feel that is perfect for a home on the shoreline.
It’s hard to decide if I like the Martha blue or the trendy coral better. Either way, these accessories are perfect for bringing the beachy feel back to my country home. The Stack + Fit modular system is perfect for replacing an old accessories box that no longer fits my needs.
Interested? This line is available exclusively at Staples. I know where I’m headed soon.
Alright! Help a girl out. My workspace furniture is rich browns. Which color scheme would you go for?
Disclosure: I was not compensated to write this post. I just saw this display and couldn’t wait to share it with my readers. Tell me it’s not absolutely perfect for a beachy desk!
