Christmas Traditions

Our halls are decked. The plans for cookie making are in place. And the Christmas shopping is underway. I really, truly love the holiday season. It has me totally giddy.

With Christmas just 12 days away, I am so excited about our family’s holiday traditions. We’ve decorated a gingerbread house and topped our tree with our angel. The kids happily open their Advent calenders every evening. They will be in the pageant at our church on Christmas Eve. And on Christmas, we will open presents, indulge in a decadent brunch and have a delicious dinner — including a ham.

Our Christmas ham has been a holiday tradition for years. We serve it with twice baked potatoes and salad — but the ham is always the star.

As you may remember, I’ve teamed up with Jones Dairy Farm as a blog ambassador for this year. I grew up on their sausage and love their bacon — and I was so excited to learn about all their ham offerings.

If you are looking for a great ham for your holiday season, Jones Dairy Farm has several awesome options. From big old fashioned hams to precooked ones to smaller Family Hams, Jones has a huge variety of hams perfect for Christmas or any holiday. The Family Hams are available in stores nationwide — check out the Jones Dairy Farm Store Locator to find stores near you.
