KitchenAid recently challenged me to create a mini baklava recipe. Honestly, this is a dessert I never imagined making — so I was more than a little apprehensive about it. But guess what? I kind of enjoyed the process of creating it. Is it quick and easy? No, definitely not. But the layering of the dough, combination of the filling and satisfying sizzle of the sweet honey mixture when you pour it over the baked baklava was more than worth it … and the results? Delicious.
