Did you know that I write a weekly newspaper column for The Bangor Daily News called Maine Course? In this week’s column, I share a recipe for Curry Vegetables and Lentil Rice.
Since 2014, I have been writing a weekly newspaper column about food and life for the Bangor Daily News. It’s called Maine Course (aptly named by my brother), and appears online every Tuesday.
This week’s column features a recipe for Curry Vegetables and Lentil Rice. With bold, Indian-inspired flavors, this dish falls somewhere between a pilaf and a dal. It’s packed with onions, carrots and peas, along with lentils, ginger, garlic and spices. And it’s delicious. But don’t take my word for it. Try it yourself.
