With just two ingredients and a few minutes, you can whip up a chilly bowl of Peaches and Cream Ice Cream that the whole family will love. This post is sponsored by my client International Delight, but all opinions are my own.
When I was in elementary school, each class had a picnic on one of the last days of school. We’d gather in the school yard — or sometimes at a local park — and eat, play and have fun. Among my favorite parts was laughing through watermelon seed-spitting contests with classmates while the pink juices dripped off our chins into the soft grass. It was just so summer.
These days, watermelon is more often seedless than not, class picnics aren’t nearly as popular and the end of school seems to come way too fast. But schools still have traditions — just with new spins. There are field days and awards days. And, for my son’s school, there’s a day in June when all the classes walk across the street to a local ice cream parlor for the frozen treat of their choice. Can you imagine? I love it, and so do the kids.
Ice cream is a smile-maker. Like this Two Ingredient Peaches and Cream Ice Cream that I surprised the kids with today. It was Will’s last day of school, so we had to celebrate a little.
Making this is as simple as it gets. In a high-speed blender, you blend together frozen peaches and International Delight’s Fat Free French Vanilla Creamer until smooth. You can either eat it right away … or freeze it until you are ready. Either way, this quick and easy recipe is ready in less than five minutes.
And how awesome will your kids think you are when you make this?
This is the first of several recipes I will be sharing over the next few months using the popular coffee creamer International Delight. I have partnered with the company as a brand ambassador and cannot wait to show you some really fun ways to use this fridge staple in recipes.
