With Halloween and Election Day safely behind us, it's time to turn our attention to one of my favorite holidays: Thanksgiving. In my house, Thanksgiving is all about the food (yours too?) with appetizers, side dishes, turkey and all the fixin's. When it comes to celebrating all the things we are thankful for (and there's a lot!), we do it big.  

So when it came time to think Thanksgiving recipes this year, I decided to tap into my new home for inspiration. I mean ... Maine ... lobster ... goes hand in hand, right?

Introducing Buttery Lobster Bacon Stuffing. Dotted with bits of sauteed onions and a hint of garlic, this rich stuffing is perfect for a Thanksgiving menu with a twist. The meaty chunks of sweet lobster are a perfect contrast to the salty pieces of thick cut bacon. So basically it's heaven in a baking dish.

Honestly, this is the kind of hearty, big flavor stuffing that could be eaten all on its own (confession: this might have been lunch a few days in a row!). But it's also perfect for serving with your favorite roasted turkey, gravy, mashed and seafood-based side dishes.

My favorite part? Those crunchy bits on the edges where the bacon and bread combined with lobster to form clusters of buttery goodness. Oh, this is good.
