Looking for inspiration? These Easter brunch recipes will help you plan a wonderful, delicious, elegant meal.
When we lived in Connecticut, Easter was one of the holidays I claimed as my own. Each year, I’d carefully craft a brunch menu centering around a big spiral ham. With it, I’d serve my signature overnight French toast, quiche, fruit salad and other goodies. Then, when we were sufficiently stuffed, everyone would hop into our cars and go to my cousin’s house where all the kids would hunt for hundreds of eggs stuffed with money, stickers and candy.
It was great fun.
Once we moved to Maine, my kids and I returned once or twice for Easter but eventually, things changed.
Still, preparing a big Easter meal is still something I love.
And I am especially excited because my kids will be home for Easter breakfast this year, so I am planning my own small but mighty meal.
Whether you are looking for fresh inspiration to liven up your meal or planning your very first Easter brunch, I’ve gathered more than 170 recipes to help you mix, match and devise your ultimate Easter menu. These recipes include my own tried and trues and some excellent ones from other food bloggers around the web.
As you look through these, don’t feel compelled to make a monster menu filled with something from every category. That isn’t necessary. You could select one or two recipes and pair them with a fruit salad. Or if you are hosting eight or more people, perhaps three or four will do the trick.
Also, don’t be afraid to add in basics to fill out the meal. Perhaps you make one very special recipe and serve it with your fluffy scrambled eggs and bacon. Beyond fruit salad, roasted asparagus, tossed salad and fruit kabobs are also fun additions to Easter menus.
